I guess your turning my argument on its head and saying that people shouldn't focus too much on mode of dispense. Which also ties in with what Tandleman says, I think.ZakAveryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01794154105596597019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-230738624391599406.post-50813742515962932202010-10-27T09:31:56.753+01:002010-10-27T09:31:56.753+01:00You're on a mission to comment on these posts ...You're on a mission to comment on these posts Zak!

@RealAleGirl I think you're right, many people are put off by the mode of dispense (Pump Clip Parade might go some way to explain this!). In my humble opinion there are still relatively few breweries appealing to a wider base of prospects and one area that doesn't help them is their bar presence (although they are perhaps somewhat hindered by infrastructure and mechanism of most bars).Mark, Real-Ale-Reviews.comhttp://real-ale-reviews.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-230738624391599406.post-11465114334865096342010-10-26T18:13:34.450+01:002010-10-26T18:13:34.450+01:00Nice.

However, I have realised that a lot of young women who drink beer are put off by Cask ale. It could in fact be the 'mode of dispense' that causes this lack of enthusiasm in some people. A lot of young people are attracted by the groovy glasses and the shiny point of sale neon, rather than the drink itself. The point I was trying to make is that yes, drink beer, and if you drink beer, don't be afraid of trying a Cask ale just because it has an old fashioned looking pump clip.Real Ale Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400563688096385701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-230738624391599406.post-48411809906187866042010-10-26T17:52:21.772+01:002010-10-26T17:52:21.772+01:00@Zak Not if you feel that cask is the way to get t...@Zak Not if you feel that cask is the way to get the best out of different styles and flavours?Tandlemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06804499573827044693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-230738624391599406.post-52359290297709783082010-10-26T14:53:29.315+01:002010-10-26T14:53:29.315+01:00You wanna try harder for that ASBO, they're qu...You wanna try harder for that ASBO, they're quite the fashionCooking Lagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02830924433230427226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-230738624391599406.post-22501653483063695702010-10-26T13:26:23.830+01:002010-10-26T13:26:23.830+01:00Isn't the challenge more about getting people ...Isn't the challenge more about getting people to understand different styles and flavours, rather than focusing on one mode of dispense?ZakAveryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01794154105596597019noreply@blogger.com
